UC Health to Host Nursing Recruitment Fairs
Health System Plans to Hire 250 Nurses
CINCINNATI (Oct. 8, 2018) — UC Health will host a series of open houses in October for nurses who want to learn more about working at Greater Cincinnati’s only adult academic health system.
“At UC Health, we care for patients with the most complex illnesses and injuries in the region,” said UC Medical Center Chief Nursing Officer Beverly Bokovitz, DNP, RN. “Our more than 2,600 nurses lead the way in providing this advanced level of care every day, and we invite those who are interested in joining our team to visit an upcoming recruitment fair and learn more for themselves.”
UC Health plans to fill approximately 250 nursing positions at all levels of the organization. The health system includes four inpatient campus and 61 outpatient locations, and it provides 38 specialties and subspecialties.
“The advanced level of care provided by an academic health system like UC Health provides our nurses with the opportunity to continually learn, grow and advance,” said West Chester Hospital Chief Nursing Officer Kathie Hays. “We also offer something for everyone: the urban trauma center, the suburban community hospital setting, and post-acute care.”
The open houses will be held at UC Medical Center, West Chester Hospital, and Daniel Drake Center for Post-Acute Care. They are free and open to the public.
