MASON ANNOUNCES BANDS TO PERFORM AT THE JULY 3, 2018 RED RHYTHM AND BOOM EVENT

The City of Mason is excited to announce that 2018 Red Rhythm and Boom will feature the 2010 Grammy Nominated band The Fray as the event’s headline entertainment!  The Denver-based group was formed in 2002 after two future band mates bumped into each other at a local guitar shop. The Fray achieved national success with their 2005 album debut, featuring the hit singles "Over My Head (Cable Car)" and "How to Save a Life," which achieved double-platinum. The City of Mason is also excited to announce that the event’s concert will kick off with an opening performance by the chart-topping group Five For Fighting!

The FREE patriotic event will take place at Mason Municipal Center campus beginning at 4 p.m. The event will feature kids zone activities and attractions such as a zipline, extreme air trampolines, interactive inflatables, a climbing wall, bounce houses, carnival games and more! Guests can also enjoy a wide variety of food options as well as adult beverages available throughout the evening.

A patriotic skydiving exhibit presented by Start Skydiving, LLC  will kick off stage activities at 6 p.m. The concert will begin shortly after with an opening performance by Five For Fighting followed by headline performance by The Fray at 8:30 p.m. The event will conclude with a 25 minute fireworks show at 10 p.m.
