MASON, OH—The Mason Deerfield Chamber (MADE) is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2017 Gems of Excellence Awards:
 
2017 Ambassador of the Year – Carla Hale from Taft Law
2017 Rising Star Award – Jonathan Cooper from Mason City Schools
2017 Hospitality Hero Award – Wildflower Café
2017 Community Partner of the Year – Sinclair College in Mason
2017 Excellence in Education Award – Jonathan Cooper from Mason City Schools
2017 Innovative Business of the Year – West Chester Hospital-UC Health
2017 MADE Business of the Year – Brixx Wood Fired Pizza
2017 Regional Business of the Year – Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden
2017 Pink Diamond Award – Dr. Gail Kist-Kline from Mason City Schools
2017 Esprit de Corps Award – City of Mason and Deerfield Township
 
The winners were announced at an awards ceremony during the MADE’s Gems of Excellence Annual Awards Night at Manor House Banquet & Conference Center in Mason on Thursday, October 26, 2017.
 
The event serves as an opportunity to honor those who have made significant contributions to enhance the quality of life and make the Mason-Deerfield area a better place to live, work, and play. The event is themed around members being seen as gems in the business community; valuable, admired for excellence, and prized for perfection.
