Join the City of Mason this year for family oriented activities and giveaways in celebration of Arbor Day! Mason’s Arbor Day celebration will take place from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday, April 28  at Mason Community Center. The Arbor Day celebration is free and open to the public.

The event will feature activities for all ages to enjoy. Kids are welcome to create an Earth Day craft sponsored by Mason Public Library and Mason Community Center Kids Korner. The Warren County Water and Soil Conservation District will also have fun educational activities for kids. Patrons will also have the opportunity to sample healthy foods from Juice Plus and see a tower garden demonstration. Local recycling companies will have information available for local electronic recycling drives.

Applications for Mason Community Garden will be available at the event as well if you’d like to begin gardening this spring, and there will be free seedling giveaways from the City of Mason.

After the event, be sure to take advantage of the spring weather with a walk through one of Mason’s seven beautiful parks, or play a round of championship caliber golf at the Mason Golf Center.

If you’re interested in a free opportunity to be a vendor at the City of Mason’s Arbor Day Celebration, please contact Dan Chambers at dchambers@masonoh.org or 513-229-8555.
