Veterans Day Commemoration Program & Silent Auction

Nicholas Olivas was a resident to Hamilton and Fairfield. He was killed while serving during Operation Enduring Freedom on May 30th, 2012 in Afghanistan. Following his death, the Nicholas Olivas Valor Award was established to provide annual financial support to student veterans in the Criminal Justice Department. In an effort to permanently endow this scholarship, the Student Government Association & Student Veterans Association have sponsored a spaghetti dinner & silent auction each year to reach the $25,000 mark.
