Event Description:
New in 2017, the MADE Chamber is launching a program called: State of the Region. The first topic will be on Education and Business Partnerships in the region MADE for Success.

The event will begin with how Kings Local Schools is going about laying a foundation to connect with the employer community; how Mason City Schools went about laying their business partnerships foundation and has implemented experiential learning and what that department looks like; and success stories of business and education partnerships in the way of internships, apprenticeships, etc. with West Chester Hospital and FESTO. We will then move to a reverse panel with education partners asking questions of business partners to grow efforts throughout the Mason-Deerfield region.

The goal of this event is to engage more employers in collaborative opportunities to connect with quality talent to introduce them to specific knowledge, skills, and competencies of value in the marketplace. We hope to inspire other employers to explore engaging with the local schools.
