Event Description:

MOVIE NIGHT IN MASON

Celebrate National Parks and Recreation month by joining your friends, families and neighbors for an outdoor movie featuring a screening of Disney’s Moana at the City of Mason Golf Center on Sunday, July 22!

Movie Night is FREE and open to the public. The event will feature activities for kids of all ages to enjoy beginning at 6:30 p.m. including bounce houses, face painters, crafts, a putting contest and more! The CourseView Restaurant will be open throughout the duration of the evening and patrons can also enjoy a hamburger or hot dog with chips and a drink for only $5. The outdoor movie will begin at 9 p.m.

Movie Night is just one of many opportunities to celebrate National Parks and Recreation Month in Mason. Residents can celebrate all month long by participating in programs, enjoying the amenities at the Lou Eves Municipal Pool and Mason Community Center, or exploring one of Mason’s seven parks or 17 miles of bike trails.  This year’s theme, “A Lifetime of Discovery”, challenges the community to explore all of the undiscovered areas of parks and recreation within Mason and educates individuals on how parks and recreation activities enhance physical health and mental wellbeing.
