Event Description:
The City of Mason and American Legion Post 194 are excited for the return of the annual Memorial Day Parade, Ceremony and Community Picnic.

The parade takes place on Monday, May 25 beginning at 10:00 a.m. The parade begins in Downtown Mason traveling along State Route 42 and then turns and heads south on Mason Montgomery Road concluding at the Mason Municipal Center parking lot. At the conclusion of the parade, the community is encouraged to attend a special Memorial Day Ceremony and Community Picnic beginning at 11:00 a.m. in front of the Veterans Memorial at the Mason Municipal Center.

Following the ceremony the community is invited to gather for an afternoon of live music, food, beverages, and camaraderie. Enjoy local food carts and live music performance by the 122nd Ohio National Guard Band. Festivities will conclude at 2:00pm.

ollowing the ceremony inside the Mason Municipal Center, the public is welcome to join the VFW Post 9622 as they host a memorial ceremony at Rose Hill Cemetery to honor founding member, Robert N. Mount. The ceremony will take place at his gravesite. Rose Hill Cemetery is located across the street from the Mason Municipal Center, 171 Mason Montgomery Road beginning at 12:00 p.m.
