JDRF One Walk
Event Description:
Lace up your sneakers and join the thousands of people who will gather on June 1 at Kings Island not to ride roller coasters, but to walk and share in JDRF's mission to find a cure for Type One diabetes (T1D).
When you participate in the 25th annual JDRF One Walk at Kings Island, the money you raise supports life-changing breakthroughs that give hope to everyone impacted by this disease. And, you'll have a good time participating with your family and friends! That's because you'll walk with a committed community that is passionate about doing whatever it takes to turn Type One into Type None.
The JDRF One Walk features a 3k course around Kings Island, offering views of popular attractions like Banshee, Diamondback, Mystic Timbers and Planet Snoopy.
The event at Kings Island is one of the largest fundraising walks - and overall nonprofit fundraising events - in the region. Since 1994, more than $13 million has been raised from walks at Kings Island, including an event-record $940,000 last summer.
Walk day check-in begins at 7 a.m. The walk begins at 8 a.m.
