“I Thought I Heard A Cardinal Sing — Ohio’s Appalachian Voices” is a one-of-a-kind poetry collection focusing on new works by Appalachian Ohioans. Edited by Ohio’s Poet Laureate Kari Gunter-Seymour, with support from the Academy of American Poets and Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, this new anthology celebrates the diversity of Ohio’s Appalachian culture. Join Gunter-Seymour and a host of other Appalachian poets for this special reading event, featuring live musical accompaniment.
