Connections MADE: Meet & Eat

Ditch the boring lunches and join us, in partnership with SOCA, for a Meet & Eat experience that's not just about business – it's about building connections, savoring scrumptious bites, and gaining inspiration that'll leave your taste buds and your networking game craving more.

Connections MADE: Meet & Eat is Mason Deerfield Chamber's popular networking event and offers lunch provided by a rotating member restaurant or venue. During the meeting members have a brief opportunity to introduce themselves and their business to the group, connect with new members, and expand their personal and professional networks. Each event also includes a featured speaker, or panel of speakers, who will be discussing their business journeys and topics of interest concerning the greater MADE region.

About February's Event

February's event will feature a keynote speaker, as well as three featured speakers, who will be addressing the Southern Ohio Chamber Alliance's benefits programs and cost-saving offerings available to all MADE Chamber members.

 

Keynote Speaker

Will Roberts
Relationship Manager, Souther Ohio Chamber Alliance (SOCA)

Will Roberts is a 1985 graduate of Tippecanoe High School and went on to study Business and Accounting at Wright State University. He held various management and sales positions before stepping into the Chamber world in 2007.  

Will is the former President/CEO for the Vandalia Butler Chamber of Commerce. During his tenue he served on the SOCA Board of Directors from 2008 - 2022 and held the position of Treasurer from 2015 – 2022. Will was a Board Member for CCEO (Chamber of Commerce Executives of Ohio) from 2009 – 2017 and has served on many committees within both Chamber organizations. 

Having a passion for serving, Will was elected to the Board of Directors for Tipp-Monroe Community Services and spent several years as the NYSCA Certification Director for many youth sports programs within his hometown of Tipp City. He was a coach for select and traveling youth sports programs in baseball, basketball, football, and soccer. He spent 25 years as a volunteer with the Tipp City Mum Festival, serving three times as the committee president and numerous years as the treasurer. He is an active member of Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church and Optimist International.  

Will is married to his high school sweetheart, Melissa. They began dating in 1981 and were married in 1989. They have three children, Justin (married to Ashley), Brandon (married to Caitie) and Caleb. Will also enjoys roughhousing with his grandson Caden. 

Scott Marston
Vice President, Cincinnati Benefit Solutions

Scott Marston is currently Vice President at Cincinnati Benefit Solutions.  He helps small businesses under 100 employees who need to attract and retain good employees by providing a comprehensive employee benefits package.  Roughly 1,000 small businesses in the Greater Cincinnati area call Cincinnati Benefit Solutions their trusted advisor for their employee benefits package.  In his free time Scott enjoys spending time with his wife Michelle and their two children Luke and Mallorie.
