On Friday, December 1 join the community in celebrating the beginning of the Christmas in Mason season with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Mason’s Downtown Plaza. This event is free and open to the public to enjoy!
The Tree Lighting Ceremony will kick off at 6:30 p.m. at the Mason Downtown Plaza! Join your neighbors for Holiday music, activities, and crafts, FREE photos with Santa, food, and refreshments, adult beverages provided by the American Legion, a FREE Ice-less Skating Rink, Christmas Carolers, a live nativity, and best of all the official lighting of the Christmas Tree!

Mason Public Library Holiday Storytime
Prior to the activities beginning on the plaza, join the Mason Public Library at 6 p.m. for Holiday Storytime! Children and adults of all ages are welcome to join the Library in a story time sing along to all of the Holiday classics such as Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer and more! Registration is not required and participation is free.
Mason Historical Society Open House
Don’t forget to make your way to 207 W. Church Street to check out the Mason Historical Society’s Alverta Green Museum! The Society will be hosting a Holiday open house from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
