Changing America Smithsonian Touring Exhibitoin

Changing America commemorates 2 historic events, separated by 100 years, on their 150th and 50th anniversaries even as Miami University celebrates the 50th anniversary of Freedom Summer. Both tell the story of people longing for liberty and justice. Exhibit Open to the public from Monday September 8, 2014 through Wednesday October 15, 2014 during regular library hours. The exhibition is made possible by the National Endowment for the Humanities and is presented by the Smithsonian?s National Museum of African American History and Culture and the National Museum of American History in collaboration with the American Library Association Public Programs Office.
