(This program is in lieu of the Why the Buffalo Still Roam: A History of Zoos and Conservation program that was previously scheduled.) Join us for this family-friendly event! Mary D. Smith, a Columbus Zoo and Aquarium docent and a volunteer for Lubee Bat Conservation in Florida will discuss bat basics. She will examine problems they face such as White Nose Syndrome (WNS), a disease that has killed millions of bats in North America. A pizza lunch will be provided for the first 75 people.
