Event Description:
“A Commitment to Diversity,” the workshop is designed for businesses looking for new ways to diversify their workforce, as well as those who are wanting to become certified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) in the state of Ohio. In addition there will be discussion regarding doing business or partnering with Miami University with members of our Strategic Procurement staff. Information and resources to aid in workforce development and retention will be included.

From Miami Regionals Dr. Ande Durojaiye & Dr. Bennyce Hamilton will share opening remarks, followed by the opening session presented by Mark Taylor, Miami University Chief Procurement Officer - How to Do Business with Miami University.
Other Miami presenters will include: Cristina Alcalde, Miami University Vice President of Institutional Diversity & Inclusion Ekaterina Gay, Miami Regionals Director of Work+ Brooke Flinders, Miami Regionals Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Samy Broyles, Miami Regionals Director of Community & Alumni Engagement Janet Hurn, Miami Senior Director of E-Campus Erica Crawford, Miami Regionals Microcredentials Program Manager
There will also be representatives from Women's Business Enterprise Council - Ohio River Valley, and the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio.
